The Chabad Center For Jewish Life of Buffalo is a welcoming, inclusive, and dynamic Jewish outreach organization dedicated to fostering a vibrant and engaged Jewish community. We unite Jews of all ages, backgrounds, and levels of observance, offering opportunities to explore the beauty, richness, and values of Jewish life through learning, dialogue, and meaningful experiences.

While Chabad has been serving the Buffalo Jewish community since the 1880s (see Chabad History in Buffalo), our current organization was founded in 2021. Our mission was inspired by the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, a leader who cared deeply for every Jew. At the Chabad Center For Jewish Life of Buffalo, every individual is met with unconditional acceptance and support—whether you are seeking spiritual guidance, Jewish education, or simply wish to connect with your heritage.

In today’s world, the Jewish community in Buffalo faces both social and spiritual challenges. Our programs and services are designed to meet these challenges and ensure Jewish continuity, giving every Jew the chance to learn, ask questions, find joy, and strengthen their connection to the Jewish people.

Our success is made possible by the generosity and partnership of community members who support our mission. Their involvement allows us to expand our services and programs, reaching more Jews in need of guidance, education, and inspiration.

We invite you to attend a program, visit us, or partner with us in these vital efforts to sustain and grow the Jewish community in Buffalo—today and for future generations.
